About our pipe & drape banner stands…

We receive many calls about banner stands – aka Step and Repeat stands.  There’s nothing to it.  We can adapt our existing pipe & drape system to accommodate just about any banner size, as long as you keep in mind some simple things…

• Up to 16′ High
  Anything higher, and it becomes a different monster which requires bracing, and all kinds of other wonderful work.  Ideal size is between 8-10′ high
• Up to whatever in Width – Grommets preferred!
  Yes, that’s right, you can go as long as you want.  However, for anything wider than 8′, we would require a base and upright to support the weight of the banner.  This means we can only hang banners with grommets, which we then either cable tie or use banner hooks to hang off of our horizontal bars.  We will not be able to accommodate a sleeve / pole pocket style banner longer than 9′.
• Outdoors? Slits, please.
  Yes, please ask your step and repeat printer to cut slits into the banner, otherwise it becomes one big sale.  Especially for larger banners (8’+).  This is for the safety of you and your guests.  If this is not possible, then we DO NOT recommend our pipe & drape system for this.  Or, we have to use a bunch of sand bags.  Lastly, we will recommend installing on a Truss System.  Call for details.

Details we need from you to properly calculate your requirements:

• Width of the banner – we then select the correct horizontal for the set up
• Height of the banner – allows us to select the correct vertical pipe
• Grommet or Pole (Sleeve) Pocket Style?  We can accommodate up to 9′ via pole pocket style.  Grommet style is preferred for wider widths.
